My installation at Talento Bilingue in 2007 entitled "Escucha Mi Voz", (Hear my voice) was dedicated to the 18 immigrants to who died in Victoria, Texas in the back of a tractor trailer on May 14, 1973 and to those immigrants who have died crossing the border in an attempt to find a better life in "El Norte."
